VersionSlate stores your App Store Connect API key in the Keychain on your devices and only makes read-only ASC requests; it does not upload your key or portfolio to our servers.

This Privacy Policy explains how VersionSlate (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit versionslate.com (the “Site”) and when you use the VersionSlate Mac and iPhone app (the “App”).

VersionSlate is a personal board for App Store, TestFlight, and Xcode Cloud status. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run advertising inside the App. There is no VersionSlate account.

App Store Connect API key

The key you add stays in the Keychain on that device. VersionSlate uses it only to make read-only App Store Connect requests from your device. We do not receive, store, or upload your key, apps, versions, TestFlight builds, Xcode Cloud status, or portfolio.

Apple’s handling of App Store Connect, TestFlight, and Xcode Cloud is governed by Apple’s privacy policies.

What we do not collect

We do not:

• Create a VersionSlate account on our servers.
• Upload your API key or portfolio.
• Collect analytics from the App.
• Sell or rent your personal information.
• Use your App Store Connect data for advertising.

The Site

Basic server and security logs (for example, IP address, browser type, and the page requested) may be processed by our hosting provider to operate and protect the Site.

Your choices

You can remove the API key inside the App. Removing the App deletes local data on that device, including the Keychain item VersionSlate stored.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the Last updated date above.
